Please refer to the table below for author information about each presentation type and what to prepare for the conference:
Oral Presentation – Online |
Duration: – Invited presentations = 17′ + 3′ for Q&A – Contributed presentations = 12′ + 3′ for Q&A Presentation process: – Live over zoom Under exceptional circumstances, we can accept prerecorded presentations, sent via wetransfer, dropbox, or similar before the 10th of September. Please contact the conference secretariat, if this is the case. |
Oral Presentation – In person |
Duration: – Invited presentations = 17′ + 3′ for Q&A – Contributed presentations = 12′ + 3′ for Q&A Presentation process: – Please provide via USB on the day of the presentation to the technical team in each room (PowerPoint or PDF formats acceptable) – Presented exclusively from the room computer. – The sessions will be recorded and made available to participants after the conference (please let us know if you do not wish your presentation to be recorded). |
Poster – Online |
– Please provide a 3′ recording of a presentation with the main points of the poster, which will be displayed to participants during the session. – To produce the recording from PowerPoint, we recommend this process, preferably exporting the file in 1080p resolution. – Please use online services like wetransfer.com to send a link to your final recording to itc_admin@surrey.ac.uk – [Optional] Posters can be printed at the author’s cost and sent directly to University of Surrey, for us to display in the poster session. These must be sent before the 6th of September. Please get in touch with the conference secretariat for more information and guidelines. – [Optional] Digital versions of the posters will be included in the materials available to conference participants, at the authors’ discretion. Please email the file (<20MB) to the conference secretariat before 6th September. – The best poster award will be based on poster content, presentation and discussion. |
Poster – In person |
– Poster board display area is 125cm wide by 90cm tall. They accept landscape-format A0 posters or portrait-format A1 posters. – Means of attaching to the poster board will be provided. – The poster session will take place on the 15th of September during the welcome reception, allowing for ample interaction. – The best poster award will be based on poster content, presentation and discussion. |
